We opened SCRUB Cycles in Rothbury as an evolution of our specialist online wheel building business  - SCRUB Wheels. At the time a we were looking for a larger premises from where we could operate our wheel building business. When we came across Muckles Yard we could see the site had potential for much more than just wheel building; SCRUB Cycles was opened in November 2023.​​

Our workshop is fully equipped to keep your bike running at it’s best. From a quick tune up to a full overhaul, ebike diagnostics and repairs, suspension servicing and tuning, seat post servicing, frame and hub bearing replacement and of course wheel building.

Located in the centre of the village of Rothbury, SCRUB Cycles is a gateway to some of the best cycling around—whether you're into gravel riding, road riding, mountain biking or something in between, the diverse local terrain has it all. Stop by for a tune-up, grab a coffee, and hit the trails right from our doorstep! We’ll gladly point you in the right direction.

Andy is lifelong cyclist with a background as a mechanical engineer. Now with over 10 years of experience in the cycle trade, he is passionate about fixing things and takes pride in building exceptional wheels. Whether he’s out riding or tackling bike repairs, Andy’s love for cycling is clear to see.​​
